An exceptionally pretty and traditional hand-crafted Murano glass chandelier on an antiqued gold leaf frame.
The diffusers are entirely handcrafted with finest clear Murano crystal, using a special ‘baloton’ mould to create the lovely raised criss-cross pattern on the glass. This is a very typical Venetian glass-making technique which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
This piece may bear some tiny imperfection that will attest to its having been fashioned entirely by hand, thus increasing its value and uniqueness. It is based on a historical design and has been crafted using purely traditional techniques.
