Glass-led designs take a different approach. Tubes of varying lengths create an irregular outline, while concentric rows of glass strips form broader ceiling pieces. Patterned Murano glass and hand-blown petals introduce curved surfaces alongside these more geometric arrangements.
A shallow ceiling light can extend across the ceiling without the drop of a suspended chandelier. Some geometric crystal designs have an 18 cm body height, while other pieces in this collection hang considerably lower. Check the full dimensions, as even flush-mounted designs vary substantially in depth.
Width matters just as much as depth. A broad circular design can give a room a central focus, while a long rectangular light can follow the proportions of a dining table. Consider its outline alongside ceiling details and the furniture below.
Matt black gives the golden smoky crystal of Masiero Palladio a pronounced outline. Elsewhere, brushed gold, bronze, chrome and copper-toned finishes form part of the design, whether visible between the glass elements or framing their edges.
Selected Murano glass designs offer amber, smoked, clear or blue tones, while other ceiling lights use white glass or metallic surfaces. The choice depends on the individual design rather than a single palette shared across the collection.
