An exquisite hand-engraved and antiqued Venetian mirror, based on a traditional 18th century French design. Every section of the mirror is hand-bevelled, etched and engraved.
The French style mirror began in 1665 when some important Venetian masters were persuaded to move to France. This style is characterised by a deep grinding and a more geometric design.
A French mirror is made of many different hand-bevelled pieces that are close together and create a harmonious geometrical figure.
The fretwork frame made of fir wood with antique finish.
The central part is made of bevelled glass with medium antique mirrored finish.
