The body of the cabinet is made from a bleached tropical hardwood known as Anigre, or Tanganyika wood, and black veneered wood too, very much in keeping with furniture designs from the art deco period. Extra-clear hand-bevelled Venetian mirror inserts add a decorative flourish.
