An exceptionally pretty hand-crafted Venetian ceiling light on an antiqued gold leaf frame.
The diffuser itself is entirely handmade with finest clear Murano glass, using a special baloton mould to create the lovely raised criss-cross pattern on the glass. This is a very typical Venetian glass-making technique which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and is still very popular today.
We can also have this very pretty light made for you with amber baloton glass, or in a smooth amber Murano glass, etched internally to give an antiqued finish. Please contact us if you would like further information.
