A delightfully pretty clear Murano crystal table lantern with a balloton finish and twisted gold wire frame, made entirely by hand on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon.In the Venetian tradition, its's very generously sized indeed, measuring just over half a metre in height.
The hot blown-glass is stamped with a special balloton mould by the Muranese glass-master to create a raised criss-cross pattern. This is a very typical Murano glass-making design which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
We are also able to offer you a smaller version, measuring 33 centimetres in height. Please refer to the options box to check both prices. The price quoted here is for the larger size.
