Antiqued Amber Venetian Glass Ceiling Lantern

A gorgeous traditional antiqued amber Venetian glass ceiling pendant on a black nickel frame, entirely hand-produced on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon.

The mould for this beautiful pendant is first fashioned from steel wire. The glass-master then blows the molten glass into the frame where it expands into the lovely curved shape before it is allowed to cool.

This lovely classic lamp is part of a small collection which includes a flush-fitting ceiling lamp and a beautiful co-ordinating wall light.

All three lights are available in the antique amber finish shown here, and in a crystal or amber baloton finish, using a special mould to create a criss-cross pattern on the glass. Please contact us if you would like further information about any of these alternative options.

This piece may bear some tiny imperfection that will attest to its having been fashioned entirely by hand, thus increasing its value and uniqueness. It is based on a historical design and has been crafted using purely traditional techniques.
