A delightfully pretty clear Venetian crystal ceiling pendant on a gold mount, with a balloton finish and decorative gold wire frame, made entirely by hand on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon.
The hot blown-glass is stamped with a special balloton mould by the Muranese glass-master to create a raised criss-cross pattern. This is a very typical Murano glass-making design which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and is still very popular today.
This enchanting pendant is based on historical designs and has been hand crafted using purely traditional techniques.
