This is Floob, created by Karim Rashid for Kundalini. Fun and simple.
It is made from thermoformed extruded plexiglass with a spun aluminium reflector. Plexiglass is known by other names, most notably, perspex, acrylic glass, PMMA, and Lucite in the States.
It is only available in clear.
