The glass is first hot-blown by the Venetian glass master, and then stamped with a special ‘baloton’ mould to create the typical raised criss-cross pattern on the glass. This is a very typical Venetian glass-making design which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and is still very popular today.
The wire used in the construction of the frames is AISI 304 stainless steel, which is suitable for use even in nautical environments.
Furthermore, the base can also be finished in antiqued ivory, antique bronze, black with silver or gold, rust brown or matt black.
