Blue Murano glass ribbed table lamp base

A stunning Venetian table lamp hand-crafted with the finest hand-blown crystal glass from the famous island of Murano. It comes as illustrated with a striking blue lamp base however the golden-trimmed ivory shade is for illustration purposes only. The fabulous ribbed effect, created using a technique known as "rigadin ritorto" is achieved by twisting the glass while it is still hot, and is a popular Murano finish,  often found in the manufacture of vases and drinking glasses.
