Amber Murano glass chandelier with bronze frame
A beautiful traditional amber Venetian glass three-light chandelier with a steel wire casing and bronze frame, entirely hand-crafted on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venice lagoon.
The mould for this beautiful wall lantern is first fashioned from steel wire. The glass-master then blows the molten glass into the frame where it expands into the lovely curved shape you see here. The interiors of the glass diffusers are etched to create a textured finish, before they are allowed to cool.
