This is the fabulous metre-wide Velvet ceiling pendant, designed by Manuel Vivian for Axo Light, for both upward and downward illumination.
It's a slightly conical shape with a white metal frame, which is covered with flame-retardant Micro faux suede fabric in eight colours.
It comes with a radial diffuser to hide the bulbs, and this can be ordered in ten colours. You can choose a conventional combination with a white diffuser or have fun with clashing brights for an on-trend modern look.
