A delightfully pretty clear Venetian crystal ceiling pendant on a gold mount, with a balloton finish and twisted gold wire frame, made entirely by hand on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon.
The hot blown-glass is stamped with a special balloton mould by the Muranese glass-master to create a raised criss-cross pattern. This is a very typical Murano glass-making design which dates back as far as the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and is still very popular today.
This enchanting pendant is part of a collection which includes a mix of table, wall and suspension lighting, all with the same gorgeous finish. The range is based on historical designs and has been crafted using purely traditional techniques.
