A wonderfully elegant 8 light Italian chandelier. This is a rather glamorous chandelier, keeping to the Venetian tradition without being overly ornate. It has a brushed gold frame, decorated with elements made by hand from gold Murano glass touched with ruby.
The beauty of the classic Venetian style is that the dimensions of all the handcrafted chandeliers are extremely generous. This is a characteristic dating back to the golden age of Venice, when enormous chandeliers were commissioned for the large Venetian palazzi, which had vast rooms with high ceilings. This lovely chandelier is no exception, measuring comfortably more than a metre in height.
The detailing, as you can see in the photos, is exquisite.
Illumination is provided by either halogen or LED bulbs.
